Hurricane Island and Oceanside High school just posted this:
"We are so lucky to work with Jennifer Cross’s STEM & Liberal Arts students at Oceanside High School for yet another year of data collection and gear deployment.
The STEM and Liberal Arts Academy students spent September building scallop spat bag lines which got deployed on Friday with the help of Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership. These lines will soak until May when they will be retrieved for data collection. It was a team effort to build the lines from scratch lead by the rope expertise of Owen and Henri. Look for our orange buoys!"
Data and education- that's how we grow our best future!
